The San Diego and Imperial Counties Chapter hosted the APWA 2026 Awards Gala at the Birch Aquarium on Friday, September 18, 2026. It was a celebratory evening with an amazing venue, a beautiful sunset, soaring hang gliders, fun networking and games, our entertaining DJ Alex, MC Dirk and special speaker Vic who kept us on track, great food and drink, award-winning projects, and generous sponsors and raffle participants. Nearly $2,000 was raised for the chapter scholarship fund!

Congratulations to the Outstanding Projects of the Year. These projects will be submitted to APWA National for the National Awards Program that will be held at PWX 2027 in Phoenix.
