The Internship Program (part of the APWA Outreach Committee) is looking for a volunteer to lead the program for 2026-2027. The Internship Program matches college and university students with paid internships in the public works industry. The Internship Program Lead coordinates and administers the internship program, and works with committee members, industry hiring partners, volunteer mentors, and student candidates to ensure a successful experience for both students and professionals.
This role is well suited for professionals who are interested in becoming more involved in the community, building relationships across APWA and the industry, and gaining leadership and program management experience while helping develop the next generation of public works professionals.
